Where: Old School Makerspace (2659 Eisenhauer Rd.)
What: Learn the basics of segmented woodturning by making a small segmented bowl using 5 species of wood. This class is designed for those who are interested in expanding their woodturning skills beyond simple bowls. Participants will use a table saw, segmenting sled, wood glue, drum sander and wood lathe to make a one-of-a-kind segmented bowl.
Prerequisite and Age Requirements: Because this will be a fast-paced class, all participants MUST have prior experience with bowl turning. Participants must be 16 years or older.
Cost: $140. This class will run with a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 5. If this class does not receive sufficient registration, you will be notified the week of the class and your tuition will be refunded.
