Building A Resurrection Garden 2025 (First Session)

When: April 13, 1:30-3:00pm

Where: Old School Makerspace (2659 Eisenhauer Rd.)

**Note: please fill out one form for each family group. Do not submit individual entries for each member of your party.

What: Join us for this special activity designed for adults and children to enjoy together. During this workshop we will eat cookies, read the Easter story, and use a variety of materials to make a miniature replica of the garden where Jesus rose from the dead. Each family will go home with a garden that can be used as a centerpiece, and that children can interact with during Holy Week. There is no age limitation, but please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult. **If you participated last year and would like to reuse some of your materials, please feel free to bring them.**

Cost: $15.

**Scholarships- If you would like to request a scholarship, please choose the option "Request Scholarship and Pay Later". Then send an email to director@oldschoolmakerspace.com with a brief explanation of any extenuating circumstances.

Release of Liability

RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF DANGERS, RISKS AND HAZARDS

I hereby acknowledge that I have knowingly and willingly volunteered to participate in an event at Old School Makerspace (Meetup, Class, Open Shop, Community Build, or other) located at 2659 Eisenhauer Rd., San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.  The sponsor of the event is The Lord’s Way, Inc. d/b/a Grace Northridge and also doing business as Old School Makerspace (“Grace”).


 I further acknowledge and understand that no warranty, either express or implied, is made by Grace as to the condition of the premises and/or the tools and equipment located therein (hereinafter called the “premises”) located in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. This document is sufficient warning that dangerous conditions, risks and hazards do exist.  My presence and activities on the premises expose both me and my property to dangerous conditions, risks and hazards, including, but not limited to: use of woodworking, ceramics, metalworking, and paper cutting tools and equipment and other potentially dangerous tools, equipment, and materials.  I hereby state that I expressly assume all such dangers, risks and hazards and I assume all responsibility to take whatever precautions necessary to protect myself in performing such activity.  I also recognize the risk of working alongside other participants who could further expose me to additional risks and hazards. 


In consideration for the right to participate in this and all future Old School Makerspace events and to enter the premises, I hereby release and agree to protect, indemnify and hold harmless Grace and its respective agents, representatives, employees, successors or assigns from and against any and all claims, demands, causes of action and damages, including attorney’s fees, resulting from any accident, incident or occurrence arising out of, incidental to or in any way resulting from the use of the premises and all improvements thereon, whether or not caused by Grace’s negligence.  This release applies during the time in which I am permitted on the premises.  I hereby further covenant and agree that I, my heirs, successors and assigns will not make any claim or institute any suit or action at law or in equity against Grace or their respective agents, representatives, employees, successors or assigns.


As used in this release, the terms, I, MY PERSON and MYSELF include minors in my care while on the premises.
