Pastel Impressionism

Learn to draw and paint with soft pastels in a relaxed, creative setting — the perfect way to build confidence in forgiving but beautiful impressionistic techniques. Pastels prepare students for more advanced mediums like oil painting or can be used to create masterpieces all on their own! Each class includes instruction and work time with one-on-one tutoring. Week 1: The Sketch: sketching, composition, underpainting. Week 2: The Painting: layering, blending, color theory.

Minimum Age Requirement: 14 (Minors must be accompanied by an adult)
If this class does not receive sufficient registration, you will be notified the week of the class, and your tuition will be refunded.
