Drawing Comics
When: May 17, 1:00-5:00pm
Where: Old School Makerspace (2659 Eisenhauer Rd.)
What: Ever wanted to draw your own comics and illustrate that cool story in your head, but just didn’t know how? This workshop is exactly what you need. Learn the ins and outs of comic book art and create your very own action-packed adventures. In this beginner-friendly workshop, we’ll learn the basics of crafting characters and backgrounds, designing covers, and drawing action-filled adventures. Whether you’ve never picked up a pencil before or you’re already comfortable making art, everyone will have fun learning how to draw comics!
Age Requirement: 8-12 years old
Cost: $60. This class will run with a minimum of 5 students and a maximum of 15. If this class does not receive sufficient registration, you will be notified the week of the class and your tuition will be refunded.
**Scholarships- If you would like to request a scholarship, please choose the option "Request Scholarship". Then send an email to director@oldschoolmakerspace.com with a brief explanation of any extenuating circumstances and indicating whether you need a partial or full scholarship. If requesting a partial scholarship, please indicate what portion of the tuition you can afford to pay.
